As students start to get offers from unis and TAFEs the reality of increasing HECS, fee paying and decreasing government funding of education are starting to bite. Why do a uni course ? When you leave you have a dept of $25K - whats the point.
Education as the great leveller of society, affording all with an equal chance to succeed is long dead in this country.
